HCC-tSOAR Congo

About HCC-tSOAR Congo
HCC-tSOAR Congo is a faith-based discipleship ministry founded by Pastor Mbusa Thaluliba
Manasse. Our mission is to promote holistic transformation across the Democratic Republic
of Congo by equipping believers to live fully surrendered to Christ and become disciple-
makers who transform their communities.
We work to strengthen the church by training leaders, empowering young people, and
serving vulnerable communities, especially in regions affected by conflict and displacement.

  • Our Mission
  • To raise disciples who:
  • Spend Time with God and learn to trust His voice
  • Surrender fully to Christ
  • Obey His commands (Matthew 28:19)
  • Abide in His Word and presence
  • Reconcile people to God and to one another
  • This is expressed through our discipleship model: tSOAR — Time, Surrender, Obey, Abide,
  • Reconcile.
  • Our Vision
  • To see a movement of Spirit-led microchurches across every province of the
  • DRC—multiplying disciples who bring healing, reconciliation, and transformation to
  • communities affected by turmoil.

What We Do

  1. Discipleship Training for Pastors and Churches
We train pastors to become disciple-makers and trainers, empowering them to disciple their
congregations. Training includes discipleship materials, Bible study guides, seminars, and
basic counseling skills. We also support reconciliation among divided churches.
  2. Marketplace Discipleship for Young Professionals

We mentor young professionals working in NGOs, banks, UN agencies, and private sectors
to live out their faith through Christlike leadership and community impact.

  1. Youth Discipleship in Schools and Universities (GBU Program)
Through Groupes Bibliques Universitaires et Secondaires (GBU), we mentor high-school
and university students, helping them grow spiritually through Bible study groups and
    leadership training.
  2. Trauma Healing & Counseling
Through our Hope Counseling Center, we provide spiritual and emotional support to
individuals and families affected by crisis, violence, and displacement.
  3. Ministry in Displacement Camps
HCC-tSOAR has partnered with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Baptist
Church in Central Africa to serve displaced families in the IDP Camps in Beni, Butembo,
    Oicha, Goma.
    We support:
    Trauma counseling
    Discipleship
